On the Airplane（在飛機上）
Mike likes to travel a lot, but he's a man of negligence. This day, he's running into trouble again and needed the help from the airhostess Vicky.
Mike 非常喜歡旅行，不過他是一個粗心大意的人。這一天，他又出狀況了，因此需要空姐Vicky 的幫忙。
Mike：Excuse me miss, could you help me find seat "p99"? I can't seem to find it.
Mike：小姐，對不起，妳可以幫我找一下座位 "p99" 嗎？我好像找不到耶。
Vicky：I'm sorry sir; I'm a little busy right now. Could you take your seat? Once the other passengers have boarded, I will return to help you.
Vicky：先生，對不起，我現在有一點忙。你可以先坐下嗎？等其他的乘客登機後，我馬上會回來幫你。
Mike：I'm sorry, maybe you didn't understand. I can't find my seat; that's my problem.
Mike：對不起，也許你不了解。問題是，我找不到我的座位啊。
Vicky：All right sir, since you just can't wait, can I see your boarding pass then?
Vicky：好吧，先生。既然你無法等，那我可以看一下你的登機證嗎？
Mike：Sure, it's right here … I put it in my passport … which I put in the side pocket of my carry-on bag … Ok. I think I've got it … Aha! I found it!
Mike：好啊，就在這裡... 我放在我的護照內… 護照在隨身旅行袋旁邊的口袋... 好了，我想我拿到了。耶，我找到了！
Vicky：Wonderful. Well, I think I see your problem. There are only 70 rows in coach so your seat number couldn't possibly be "p99". Here read it for yourself.
Vicky：太棒了。嗯，我想我了解你的問題了。因為客艙內只有 70 排，所以你的座位號碼不可能是 "p99"。你自己看吧。
Mike：Seat "66d". I can't believe I was reading it upside-down! This is so embarrassing!
Mike：是座位 "66d"。我不敢相信我竟然看顛倒了！真是糗大了！
"Dialogue 1" 相關實用句型：
1. I can't believe I was reading it upside-down!
（我不敢相信我竟然看顛倒了！）
說明："I can't believe..." 用來表示「對某事感到驚訝」；而副詞片語 "upside down" 表示「顛倒」，我們也可以用 "turn... upside down" 的句型來表示「將... 搞得亂七八糟」，例如：
These children turned the house upside down when their mother was absent.
（這些小孩趁媽媽不在時，將屋子搞得翻了過來！）。

At the Airport（在機場）
Vicky and her family have enjoyed their trip and were heading toward the airport with their tour guide, Mike.
Vicky一家人的旅行非常愉快，他們正與導遊 Mike 前往機場途中。
Vicky：Mike, thank you so much for making this a wonderful trip for my family. I'm sure you're one of the best tour guides in the business.
Vicky：Mike，非常感謝你為我們一家人打造了這麼棒的旅遊。我敢肯定你一定是這個行業裡最棒的導遊之一。
Mike：Thanks for your compliment, Vicky. It's been a pleasure serving all of you.
Mike：多謝妳的讚美，Vicky。能夠為妳們大家服務是一件愉快的事。。
Vicky：I just have one more question. I know you told us this earlier, but could you explain again the procedure once we get to the airport?
Vicky：只是我還有一個問題。我知道你老早就講過了，但可以請你再解說一下我們到機場後的程序嗎？
Mike：Certainly, no problem. When we arrive at the airport, you first need to claim your luggage at the side of the bus. Then we will all proceed inside the terminal together. At the check-in counter you will receive your boarding pass.
Mike：當然，沒問題。當我們抵達機場時，你們首先要在巴士邊領取行李。然後我們將一起進入航站。你們將會在報到櫃台拿到登機證。
Vicky：Then we go through the X-ray machines, correct?
Vicky：然後我們將通過X光偵測機，對吧
Mike：Not quite yet. At that time, I will give you all instructions as to when and where we will meet. It is your responsibility to arrive at the departure gate on time.
Mike：還沒耶。到時候，我會給你們所有會面時間與地點的指示。準時到達登機門是你們的責任喔。
Vicky：So, the next step is to pass through the security checkpoint, isn't that right?
Vicky：那接下來是要通過安全檢查站，對吧？
Mike：Well, we will be arriving early for our flight so you will have some time to do some duty free shopping or grab a snack in the airport terminal before going there.
Mike：嗯，我們會提前到達現場，所以在過安檢之前，你們會有一些時間到機場航站中的免稅店購物，或著買些零嘴來吃。
Vicky：Oh, that's great. We can relax a bit. The last few days have been so hectic!
Vicky：哇，太棒了。我們可以放輕鬆點。過去幾天一直都很匆忙！
Mike：Just make sure you keep track of the time. It's a big airport and it's easy to get lost. Last time, I had to leave an entire family behind.
Mike：你們只要確定時間在掌控中就好了。這機場很大，所以很容易迷路的。上一次，我就必須讓一整個家庭被放鴿子。
Vicky：Oh, I'm sure you're just joking! You're such a sweet boy; you wouldn't possibly do such a thing!
Vicky：喔，我想你在開玩笑吧！你是一個這麼好人，你不會做這樣的事啦！
Mike：Just make sure it doesn't happen to you, all right?
Mike：只要妳肯定這不會發生在妳身上，好嗎？
Vicky：I'll keep them all on a short-leash, don't worry. We'll be at the gate on time.
Vicky：別擔心，我會把他們看緊的。我們會準時到登機門。
"Dialogue 2" 相關實用句型：
2. You will have some time to do some duty-free shopping.
（你們會有一些時間到機場航站中的免稅店購物。）
說明：「去購物」的說法是 "to do shopping"，前面的形容詞 duty-free 表「免稅的」。為什麼呢？因為名詞 duty 除了表「責任」之外，還有「稅」的意思，但它與 tax 是有差別的，duty 屬於「關稅」（customs duties）這一類的。例如：
Customs duties are paid on imported goods.（進口貨物要付關稅。）
3. Just make sure you keep track of the time.
（你們只要確定時間在掌控中就好了。）
說明：動詞片語 "keep track of" 可等於 "keep in touch with..."（與... 保持聯繫），但 "keep track of" 又可指「追蹤╱記錄...」，因此 "keep track of the time" 就是指「掌控時間」囉！例如：
I used to keep track of every penny she spent.
（我曾經把自己所花的每一分錢都記下來。）
