Kevin and Vicky are waiting for the bus at the bus stop. They start to talk about the unpredictable weather these days.
Vicky：I hope the bus gets here soon. It feels like it's going to rain.
Vicky：我真希望公車快點來。天空看起來好像要下雨了。
Kevin：Yeah, those clouds look pretty dark and the wind is picking up.
Kevin：是啊！這些雲看起來很黑，風也在吹了。
Vicky：It's strange because the forecast called for sunny weather today.

Kevin：That's why I always bring this umbrella along with me.

Vicky：Do you think it might be due to Climate Change?

Kevin：I don't know, but there sure was a lot of severe weather last year.
Kevin：我不知道，不過去年的確有許多劇烈的氣候變化。
Vicky：I don't even want to think about it. Oh, here comes the bus!
Vicky：我連想都不願意想。喔！公車來了！

Vicky is driving her customer, Kevin, to play golf. They talk about Vicky's first experience of playing golf.
Kevin：So Vicky, what's your handicap?
Kevin：那麼，Vicky，你的「差點」是什麼？
Vicky：I wish I knew but I just started hitting the links.
Vicky：我倒希望我知道，不過我才開始打高爾夫球而已。
Kevin：So are you a pro or a hacker?
Kevin：所以，你是高手還是新手？
Vicky：Well, I hit an ace last week on this course.
Vicky：嗯，我上週在這個球場一桿進洞。
Kevin：Really!!! I've been playing for years and never hit one.
Kevin：真的！我打了幾年了，從沒打過一桿進洞。
Vicky：I guess you could call it beginner's luck then.
Vicky：我想你可以說這是新手的好運氣。
Kevin：So, tell me about it.
Kevin：那麼，跟我描述一下吧！
Vicky：Well, I shanked my first drive off the tee into the rough.
Vicky：嗯，我在開球的球座區把球打偏了，打進深草區裡。
Kevin：So, your ace on that hole was a Mulligan! I don't believe it.
Kevin：所以你那「一桿進洞」是揮第二桿的囉！我真不敢相信！
Vicky：Well, believe it. I must have hit the next ball right in the sweet spot because it flew down the fairway like a dream and the next thing I knew, the ball was in the cup.
Vicky：相信吧！接下來那個球我一定是有打到中心點，因為這一球就像夢一樣飛進球道，接下來我所知道的就是，球在球洞裡囉！
Kevin：Sounds so easy. I guess you get honors but no gimmies this game. OK?
