Dialogue 1: At school (在學校遇見新同學) -- 入門對話

Kevin: Hi, you must be Sophia?
Kevin: 嗨，你一定是 Sophia吧？
Sophia: Yes, I am.
Sophia: 是啊，我是。
Kevin: Hi, I am Kevin. Your new classmate. Nice to meet you.
Kevin: 嗨，我是Kevin。妳的新同學。幸會。
Sophia: Nice to meet you, too.
Sophia: 幸會。
Kevin: Have you had this professor before? I heard he's really tough.
Kevin:妳以前修過這個教授的課嗎？我聽說他很嚴格。
Sophia: Yeah, I had him last semester. He is not that tough, if you just complete the homework assignments. You'll do fine.
Sophia:有啊，我上個學期修過他的課，只要你完成回家作業，他就不會像你聽說的那樣嚴格啦。你會沒問題的。
Kevin: Great, that's what I wanted to hear. Thanks!
Kevin: 太好了，那就是我想聽的。謝啦！
主題相關實用句型：
1. You must be ...（你一定是 ...）
例： You must be my new neighbor.（你一定是我的新鄰居。）
說明：和素未謀面但耳聞過的人見面，剛開始一定要先認出這個人。除了可以使用以上的句型外，還有其他兩個常用的表達方式喔！
(1) Are you ...? 請問你是 ... 嗎？
(2) You are ..., aren't you? 你是，對不對？
2. Hi, I am ... Your new ... （嗨，我是... 你的新...）
例: Hi, I am Michelle Huang. Your new colleague.（嗨，我是 Michelle 黃，你的新同事。）
3. Nice to meet you.（很高興認識你。）
例： I am the class leader of this class, James. Nice to meet you.（我是這個班的班長，James。很高興認識你。）
說明：除了以上的說法外，還有其他兩種表達「很高興認識你」的說法。這幾句都可以作為自我介紹的結語。其中 "Pleased to meet you." 記得不能說成 "Please to meet you."
(1) Pleased to meet you.
(2) It's a pleasure to meet you.

Kevin: Hello, allow me to introduce myself. I am Kevin Rambke, a salesman at Book Tech International.
Kevin: 哈囉，請容我自我介紹一下。我是 Kevin Rambke，Book Tech International 的業務員。
Sophia: Hello, I am Sophia Chen, the Supervisor of English Material Design Division for Idealist Corp.
Sophia: 哈囉，我是 Sophia Chen，目前是 Idealist Corp. 的英文教材設計部門的主管。
Kevin: This is an interesting seminar, don't you think?
Kevin: 這真是場有趣的研討會，對吧？
Sophia: Yes, I've learned a lot of interesting new business concepts.
Sophia: 是啊，我學到很多有趣及新穎的企業概念。
Kevin: What is it that your company does?
Kevin: 妳的公司是在做什麼的呢？
Sophia: We design and publish international teaching materials. How about you?
Sophia: 我們設計並出版國際教學教材。你呢？
Kevin: We identify and distribute new teaching materials in the world market.
Kevin: 我們找出並配銷新式教材到世界市場。
Sophia: Oh, that sounds very interesting. Maybe we can do business together. Can I have your business card and have our sales representative give you a call?
Sophia: 喔，那聽起來非常有趣。也許我們可以一起做生意。我可以要你的名片並請我們的業務代表打電話給你嗎？
Kevin: Great! That's what I am here for, to make new connection in the Asian market.

Sophia: What type of products are you looking for? We have a wide selection of English teaching and training materials. We also have a website you can visit or I can give you a product catalogue, if you prefer that.

Kevin: If you have a catalogue, I'll look it over and get back to you later.

Sophia: Great! Thank you very much. I hope our company can offer what you're looking for. I got to go now. It was very nice to meet you.

主題相關實用句型：
1. I am ..., the ... at / of / for ...（我是 ...，公司的 ...。）
例：Hello. I am Michael Lin, the General Manager at Tech Corp.（哈囉。我是 Michael 林，目前是 Tech Corp. 的總經理。）
說明：在自我介紹時，請告知對方你的姓名，職稱以及所屬的公司。
2. Allow me to introduce myself . I am ... （請容我自我介紹。我是 ...。）
例：Allow me to introduce myself. I am Tony Chang. （請容我自我介紹。我是 Tony 張。）
說明：以上的句型千萬不能寫成 "Allow me to introducing myself."。此外類似的表達方式還有 "Let me introduce myself. I am ..."
