Mike: How many interviews do you have scheduled for today?

Janice: Let me see... I have three in the morning and six in the afternoon. How about you?

Mike: I have four this morning and seven later on in the afternoon.

Janice: We'll both have our hands full this week! Our deadline is Monday, so we'll have to make our final decisions by the end of the week.

Mike: Yeah, I know. My schedule is totally full. I've received so many resumes and CVs, and I've had a really difficult time deciding which applicants I wanted to interview.

Mike: Well, I guess we've got our work cut out for us. Time to get a large cup of Joe...it's going to be a long day.

重要字詞講解：1. have one's hands full 非常忙碌
例：We'll both have our hands full this week!
（這禮拜我們兩個會忙到不可開交！）
例：He has his hands full taking care of his flower business.
（他忙著照顧他花店的生意。）
※ 小叮嚀：
have one's hands full 有「忙到幾乎沒時間做其他事」的意思，後面接動名詞表示忙碌的內容。這個片語也可用 very busy with 來替代。
2. deadline (n.) 期限
例：Our deadline is Monday, so we'll have to make our final decisions by the end of the week.
（我們的期限是禮拜一，所以我們得在這禮拜以前做出最後的決定。）
例：It's good that you try to make your work perfect, but you should keep an eye on the deadline, too.
（你想把工作做到完美是不錯，可是你也要注意一下截止日期。）
3. in the same boat 處境相同

※ 小叮嚀：
get one's work cut out 後面可接 for 再加上和主詞的人稱相同的代名詞受格（例如主詞是 we，代名詞受格就是 us），也可以用不定詞片語說明工作的內容。
