英文面試時，如何聰明發問
面試官給你機會提問的目的：第一，提供資訊讓你對工作內容具備清楚的概念；第二，透過你的問題判斷你這個人。此外，你在問問題時也應該有兩個目的：第一，取得對該工作所欠缺的相關資訊。第二，以提出的問題來博取面試官的好感。
現在我們就來看看職場新手Kevin和職場老手Daisy如何聰明發問吧。
Kevin：Could I ask about relations between Chinese staff and foreign staff, especially relations between Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese staff?
凱 文：我能不能了解一下中國員工和外國員工的關係，尤其是台灣和中國大陸的員工？
Interviewer：Well, generally speaking, I have to say that relations between Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese staff are usually very good. There's often some initial curiosity, but that soon dies down. As long as both sides stick to the job, and in getting to know each other, there should be no problems. We've found that it's always best to avoid any kind of political remarks or discussions to keep things running smoothly and keep the staff on good terms with each other. We take this very seriously at GGM.
面試官：嗯，一般來說，我是覺得通常台灣和中國大陸員工之間的關係都很好。往往一開始時會有一些好奇，但很快就熟稔起來了。只要雙方專注在工作上和盡量了解對方，應該就沒有問題。我們發現最好是避免任何政治性言論或討論，事情就會進行地比較順暢，員工彼此也能維持良好的關係。我們通用汽車非常重視這一點。
Daisy：Could I ask why a knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for this job?
黛 西：我能不能了解一下，為什麼國語和廣東話對這個工作而言很重要？
Interviewer：Well, that's a good question. The IMF is getting more closely involved with China as China moves towards liberalizing its financial markets. The exchange rate issue is big on the agenda, as you know, and once China liberalizes their financial markets and unpegs the yuan, opportunities for foreign investors in the Chinese financial markets will increase. It's important for the IMF to be involved at the ground level so that we can influence things in the right way, the way that's safe and sound for China's trading partners, and ultimately, of course, for the global economy. That's why we need more Mandarin and Cantonese speakers on the staff.
面試官：嗯，這個問題很好。國際貨幣基金會和中國的關係越來越密切，因為中國正朝著開放金融市場的方向前進。匯率問題是計畫的大目標，你也知道，一旦中國開放了金融市場和解除對人民幣的管制，外國投資公司在中國金融市場的機會就會提高。對國際貨幣基金會而言，很重要的一點就是從基層開始參與，這樣我們就可以適當地影響政策，為中國的貿易夥伴奠定良好和安全的基礎，最終當然也是為了全球經濟?想。這就是為什麼我們需要更多會說國語和廣東話的員工。 |
