Jack and Lou return to their seats.
Red Sox Fan: Hey, look who's come crawling back!
Lou: You're a bit outnumbered to be talking trash, 1)Bean Boy.
Jack: You guys sure are passionate about baseball.
Lou: We are. But there are fewer fans than there used to be.
Jack: Why's that?
Lou: Too many scandals, 2)steroids, strikes, outrageous salaries, players always switching teams…all that crap just took something away from the game.
Jack: We had a similar problem in Taiwan a while back. There were accusations of 3)game fixing, and many fans lost interest. But it's gotten better.
Lou: Hey, you guys follow World Cup Baseball very much?
Jack: We do! In fact, the BWC will be in Taiwan this December.
Lou: To a lot of us that 4)league seems much more pure. It keeps the spirit of baseball alive.
Jack: Yes, and it's more fun to cheer for national teams.
Lou: Wait a second! Did you say December?
Jack: Yes, why?
Lou: I have to take a business trip to Taiwan… in December!
Jack: That's great! I'll take you to a game.
傑克和路回到座位上。
紅襪球迷：嘿，看是誰爬回來了！
路：小波波，你們勢單力薄還敢講垃圾話啊。
傑克：你們這些人對棒球真熱情。
路：是啊。但現在球迷比以前少了。
傑克：為什麼呢？
路：太多醜聞、類固醇、罷工、無節制的高薪、球員永遠在轉隊……這些垃圾帶走了球賽的一些精神。
傑克：我們台灣之前也有類似的問題。有球員被控打放水球，使得許多球迷失去熱忱。但情況有所好轉了。
路：嘿，你們台灣人很重視世界盃棒球賽喔？
傑克：是呀！事實上，這屆世棒賽將於十二月在台灣舉行。
路：對很多人來說那種賽事似乎乾淨得多，它維繫棒球的精神於不墜。
傑克：沒錯，而且幫國家隊加油更有樂趣。
路：等等！你說十二月。
傑克：是呀，怎麼了？
路：我得去台灣出差……就在十二月！
傑克：那太好了！到時我帶你去看球賽吧！
