Ted and Carol haven't had any luck trying to make a reservation at a restaurant, but Carol has found an affordable banquet room in a hotel that is very close to their office which would be convenient for everyone to get to.

Ted: I haven't been able to find any restaurants that can accommodate our large group.
Ted:

Carol: Don't worry. I've found the perfect location to hold the party. There's a hotel only a few blocks from here and they have a banquet room available on February 16th. Actually, I've been to various functions there in the past. Once we held a press conference there and I attended a seminar there last year.

Ted: I know which hotel you're talking about now! The rooms there are huge.
Ted:

Carol: Right! They have the capacity to hold over a thousand people.
Carol:

Ted: What gave you the idea to call that hotel?
Ted:

Carol: Well, I was talking to my friend last night and she told me that she was going to have her wedding reception there this spring, and that the rate was quite reasonable.

Ted: Have you made a reservation yet?
Ted:

Carol: I just wanted to check with you first before calling.
Carol:

Ted: Go for it! At this late date we can consider ourselves lucky to find any place!
Ted:

Carol: Great! I'll get on the horn and reserve it right away.
Carol:
