Sam: Hold your horses! A thank you card is a good idea, but sending chocolates is going too far.
Linda: I guess putting perfume on the thank you card is too much, too.
Sam: That's out of the question!
Linda: Why don't I just call the interviewer and thank him?
Sam: I'm not sure that's a good idea. Some people don't like to be 1)bugged at work.
Linda: What are you talking about? I think it's a great idea.
Sam: Why do I even bother giving you advice? I'm just wasting my breath.
Linda: Oh, don't be such a 2)know-it-all.
Sam: Then why don't you stop being such an 3)ingrate?
Linda: Sam, lighten up. I was just kidding.
山姆：慢一點！謝卡是不錯的主意，但送巧克力就太過火了。
琳達：我想在謝卡裡灑香水也太過頭了。
山姆：那還用說嗎！
琳達：我為什麼不能打電話給幫我面試的人，在電話裡謝謝他就好？
山姆：那應該不是個好主意。有些人不喜歡在工作時被打擾。
琳達：你在說什麼啊？我覺得這主意很棒。
山姆：我幹麻自找麻煩給妳建議啊？真是浪費口舌。
琳達：噢，別一副無所不知的樣子。
山姆：那妳為什麼不能別再忘恩負義？
琳達：山姆，放輕鬆啦，我開玩笑的啦。
