On their way to the park
A-jun: Wow. Everybody and his brother is going to the park.
Xinyi: It's a tradition. Families across America 1)hang out together at the park to barbecue and watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July.
A-jun: I see. The Fourth of July is about family, barbecue and fireworks.
Xinyi: Don't forget 2)patriotism. Don't you see all the flags?
A-jun: You're right. It's a sea of red, white and blue!
Xinyi: Here we are, this is the park. And there's my friend's barbecue, right there!
A-jun: Wow, everybody's drinking beer. How do I tell them I don't like to drink?
Xinyi: When in Rome, do as the Romans do!
到公園的途中
阿俊：哇。一堆人都往公園走耶。
心怡：這是傳統。七月四日這天，美國各地的家庭都會全家出動到公園烤肉看煙火。
阿俊：原來如此。七月四日是家人、烤肉和煙火的日子。
心怡：也別忘記愛國情操。你沒看到那些旗子嗎？
阿俊：妳說得對。簡直成了一片紅、白、藍的汪洋！
心怡：到公園了。我朋友的烤肉聚會就在那兒！
阿俊：哇，大家都在喝啤酒耶。我要怎麼告訴他們我不愛喝酒？
心怡：入境請隨俗！
