Complaining about the mobile phone bill（抱怨手機帳單）
Vicky has received her mobile phone bill, but there are a few calls that she didn't make. She's angry, so she's calling to have it out, and Kevin answers the phone.
Kevin：Good morning. You've reached SLOWTEL customer service. How can I help you today?
Kevin：早安，這裡是「慢速電信」客服部。請問有什麼需要為您服務的？
Vicky：I just received the latest bill for my cell phone and I have a problem with it.
Vicky：我剛收到我手機最新的帳單；有個問題想請教。
Kevin：Let me guess, you were charged for calls you didn't make, right?
Kevin：我想，您是不是被索取未撥號的費用？
Vicky：Yes, exactly. How did you know?
Vicky：是啊！完全正確。你怎麼知道？
Kevin：Well, that happens a lot here. If I were you, I'd just ignore them.
Kevin：嗯，這種事在這兒常常發生。如果是我的話，我會不管它。
Vicky：So, let me get this straight, I don't need to pay for these calls?
Vicky：所以，我釐清一下；我不需要為這些撥號付費？。
Kevin：Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. Have a good day!
Kevin：是啊！我不會為這擔心。祝你今天愉快！
Vicky：Ok. Thanks. You too.
Vicky：好的，謝謝。也祝你愉快。

1. I just received + 事物 + and I have a problem with it.（我剛收到...而我有個問題想請教您。）
例：I just received my credit card and I have a problem with it.（我剛收到我的信用卡，而我有個問題想請教您。）
說明：這樣的句型還有其他的說法，例如：
(1) I've just got + 事物 + and there is something I don't understand.（我剛收到...而我有些地方不了解。）

2. If I were you, I'd + 原形動詞...（如果我是你的話，我就會...）
例：If I were you, I'd just leave it alone.（如果我是你的話，我會不管它。）
說明：這是一種「與現在事實相反」的假設語法，因此句中的動詞使用過去式。也可以說成：
(1) If it were me, I'd + 原形動詞...（如果是我的話，我就會...。）
(2) I'd + 原形動詞 + if I were you.（我會...如果我是你。）

Situation: Complaining about the products（抱怨產品）
Kevin's company has bought a product from Vicky's company, but there seems to be some problems with the product. Kevin's calling to figure out the problems, and Vicky answers the phone.
Kevin：Hello! This is Kevin. Is Vicky there?
Kevin：哈囉！我是 Kevin。請問 Vicky 在嗎？
Vicky：Oh, Hi! Kevin! I just listened to the message you left on my voicemail this morning and I was just about to call you. You have a quality deficiency issue, correct?
Vicky：喔！嗨！ Kevin。我剛聽了你今早在我語音信箱留下的訊息，我才剛要打給你。你有品質瑕疵方面的問題，是吧！
Kevin：You could say that, or you could call it a fiasco, debacle or (my personal favorite) a complete SNAFU. Take your pick.
Kevin：可以這麼說，或者你可以說成「出大紕漏」、「大災難」，或者我個人比較喜歡的「全盤天翻地覆」。任你選。
Vicky：Well, I'm glad you haven't lost your sense of humor.
Vicky：嗯，我很高興你還沒失去你的幽默感。
Kevin：Yeah, well that's cold comfort. My phone keeps ringing-off the hook with customers complaining about those USB cables you sold me.
Kevin：是啊！這真是敷衍的安慰。我的電話一直應接不暇，客戶不斷抱怨你賣給我的 USB 接線。
Vicky：What exactly is the problem with them?
Vicky：他們有什麼問題？
Kevin：Well, it seems that they aren't USB 2.0 compliant. They only transfer data at 12 Megabits per second, which is way too slow.
Kevin：嗯，問題好像是這些接線不是符合 USB 2.0 規格的。它們只能傳輸每秒 12 兆位元的資料，這有點太慢了。
Vicky：Well, that's because they are full speed USB rather than hi-speed.
Vicky：嗯，那是因為它們是全速的 USB，而不是高速的。
Kevin：Let me get this straight, full speed isn't hi-speed?
Kevin：讓我釐清一下。全速的不是高速的？
Vicky：Right, I thought you understood these were backward-compliant cables.
Vicky：沒錯，我以為你知道這些是可以向後相容的接線。
Kevin：So, I guess what you're saying is, I'm the idiot?
Kevin：所以，我想你是說，我是傻瓜囉？。
Vicky：No, no. I'm not saying that. Let me talk to my boss. Maybe I can arrange a refund or product exchange for you since it was an honest mistake.
Vicky：不！不！我不是這個意思。讓我跟我老闆說說。既然這是個無心之過，或許我可以為你安排退款或者換貨。
Kevin：That sounds good. Just make sure to get back to me first thing tomorrow.
Kevin：這聽起來還不賴。要確定明天一早回覆我喔！
Vicky：I promise I will.
Vicky：我保證。
