Kevin is introducing Anna to Vicki.

Kevin:Hey Vicki. How are you doing today?
Kevin:嗨，Vicki。你今天好嗎？
Vicki:Hi Kevin, I'm great. Thanks. How are you?
Vicki:嗨，Kevin，我很好，多謝關心。你好嗎？
Kevin:I'm fine. Take a seat. Want to order something? I know Cappuccino is your favorite.
Kevin:我很好。坐下吧。想來點什麼嗎？我知道卡布奇諾是你的最愛。
Vicki:Let's do it later. Who's this?
Vicki:待會再說吧。這位是？
Kevin:Oh, I'd like to introduce to you my new colleague Anna. She just joined our company last week. She's going to be a great success.
Kevin:噢，我要向你介紹我的新同事Anna。她上星期才加入我們公司。她可是顆明日之星喔！
Vicki:Hi Anna, it's my pleasure to meet you.
Vicki:嗨，Anna，真高興認識你。
Anna:Well, thanks a lot and glad to meet you too. But I'm still new to this business. I've got so much to learn.
Anna:嗯，謝謝，我也很高興認識你。不過，我在這行還只是生手。要學的地方還多著呢。
Kevin:Don't ever listen to her. She's just being humble. In fact, it's always her dream to be the next Mary Kay.
Kevin:千萬別聽她的。她只是謙虛而已。成為下一位玫琳凱女士可一直是她的夢想呢。
Vicki:Good for you, Anna. I'm sure you'll make it in the future.
Vicki:那好啊，Anna。我相信有一天你會成功的。
Anna:Thank you very much. I hope so.
Anna:真謝謝你。希望如此。
主題相關實用句型：
1. I would like / I'd like to introduce to ...
例：I'd like to introduce my sister, Lisa to you. I'd like to introduce to you my sister, Lisa.
（我要向你介紹我妹妹Lisa。）
說明：在此句中，被介紹者是 Lisa，而 you 則是說話者介紹 Lisa 的對象，前須接介系詞 to，此對象可置於被介紹者之前或之後，注意喔，這裡的 to 不可省略。我們還可以用以下兩種方式來介紹他人彼此認識：
(1) I would like / I'd like you to meet ...（我想讓你見見 ...）
(2) This is my ...（這位是我的 ...）
2. She / He is going to be ...（她╱他將是 ...）
例：He's going to be the next Michael Jordan. He's so good at basketball!
說明：介紹他人給朋友時，通常會以讚美的語氣附帶地簡述此人的特殊長才，這時可以用此一句型來表示。"be the next ..." 是指「成為下一位 ...」，後接高知名度而為人效法的成功人物。類似的表達方式有兩種：
(1) I think she'll / he'll be ...（我想她╱他將會 ...）
(2) Her / His success as ... can be seen.（她╱他成為 ... 是可以預見的。）

Dialogue 2: At the meeting（在集會場合）進階對話
Kevin is introducing a new colleague, Anna to co-workers in a meeting.
Kevin:Good morning, every one, and thank you for being so punctual. Before we begin today's meeting, allow me to introduce Anna Chen, the newest addition to our management team. Anna, may I present your new colleagues.
Kevin:各位早，謝謝大家這麼準時。在我們開始今天的會議前，容我引介一位我們管理團隊的最新夥伴 Anna Chen。Anna，讓我向您介紹您的的新同仁吧。
Anna:Hello, every one. It's really refreshing to see so many new faces. I'm Anna. Nice to meet you here.
Anna:哈囉，各位。看到這麼多新面孔，還真令人精神振奮呢。我是 Anna，很榮幸能在這兒認識大家。
Kevin:Anna was the international accounts manager of the Cross Pacific Corp. She comes to us with the highest recommodations. I've received a reference from her previous boss, saying that she is an outstanding performer in collaborative management and marketing.
Kevin:Anna 之前是泛太平洋公司的國際帳務管理經理。她可是受最高的評鑑加入我們的喔。我已經從她先前的老闆那收到一封推薦信，說她在合作管理與市場行銷這方面是位傑出的人才。
Anna:Thank you. Well, candidly speaking, I chose to join your team, Kevin, because your reputation as an excellent manager is widely known in the business world.
Anna:謝謝。嗯，坦白說，Kevin，我選擇加入您的團隊，是因為您這位傑出經理人的聲望，在商業界可是無人不知啊。
Kevin:Ha, it's overrated. But certainly your joining will make our company even better! Could you please share your experiences with our people?
Kevin:哈，過獎了。不過您的參與肯定會使我們的公司更好。能否請您向我們的同仁們分享您的經驗呢？
Anna:No problem. Well, first of all, I believe one must have the courage to bring some innovative or even revolutionary air into a company. You know, a company is like a huge machine that may repress or strangle people's talents or specific abilities.
Anna:好的。嗯，首先呢，我相信一個人必須要有膽識，能把創新或革命性的氛圍帶進公司裡。你們知道，公司就像台巨大的機器，可能會壓抑或扼殺人們的天賦或特殊才能。
Kevin:That's so insightful. And can you tell us how to discover and tell people's differences?
Kevin:那真是具洞察力啊。那麼能不能請您告訴我們，要如何發掘分辨人們的殊異性呢？
Anna:That's the lesson that ambitious managers have to learn throughout their whole life. It's never easy to really know people. You need to widen your vision and, particularly, understand your co-workers' personalities.
Anna:那可是有雄心的經理人所畢生學習的課題。要真正瞭解人絕非易事。你必須拓展眼界，尤其要瞭解你同事們的個性。
Kevin:I can't agree more. An egocentric and narrow-minded manager is doomed to fail.
Kevin:我完全同意。一個以自我為中心又小心眼的經理人注定會失敗。
Anna:I think so. Management is skillful work. It constantly tests a manager's intelligence.
Anna:沒錯。管理是個需要技巧的工作，它會不斷考驗一位經理人的智慧。
Kevin:Exactly right. I'm glad to see we're all on the same page, and we're very happy to have you as part of our team.

主題相關實用句型：
Allow me to introduce ... (the ... of ...)（容我介紹 ...)
例：Allow me to introduce my new sponsor, the chairperson of Idealist Educational Organization.
（我要向你介紹我的新贊助者，創意家文教機構的總裁。）
說明：這是採用更委婉的口吻來引介他人，並使用同位格來輔助說明此人的職務背景。我們也可以用以下兩種方式說：
(1) May I present ... (the ... of ...) 容否讓我介紹 ...（來自 ... 的 ...）
(2) Please let me introduce ... (the ... of ...) 請讓我介紹 ...（來自 ... 的 ...）
2. I look forward to ...（我期待 ...）
例：I look forward to receiving your phone call.
（我期待接到您的來電。）
說明："look forward to ..."，後接動名詞或名詞片語，指期待某事的到來。類似用法有兩種：
(1) It's my wish to ...（... 是我的心願）
(2) I hold the perspective to ...（我有願景 ...）類似的表達方式還有 "Let me introduce myself. I am ..."
