Vicky：I want to go to Yanmingshan. Does this bus go there?
Vicky：我要去陽明山。這班公車有到陽明山嗎？
Mike：Let me see...I think you need to catch that bus across the street.
Mike：我看看… 我想你得到對面去搭公車。
Vicky：Oh, thank you very much. By the way, do you know how often it runs?
Vicky：喔，非常感謝你！對了，你知道公車多久一班？
Mike：Sorry, I don't. I'm sure you won't have to wait very long though.
Mike：抱歉，我不知道耶。不過我確定你不會等太久的。
"Dialogue 1" 相關實用句型：
1. I think you need to catch that bus across the street. （我想你得到對面去搭公車。）
動詞 catch 本來是「抓」的意思，在英文裡，「catch + 交通工具」表示「趕著去搭...」。"across the street" 是「在對街」的意思。例如，"across the Taiwan Strait" 是「在海峽對岸」之意。
2. By the way, do you know how often it runs? （對了，你知道公車多久一班？）
"by the way"（對了╱順道一提）是口語中很常見的說辭，當我們突然想到一件事，想提醒對方的時候。此外，問「公車或火車多久一班」可以用 "How often does the bus/train run?"

Vicky and Mike are in Danshui...
Vicky 和 Mike 來到淡水…
Vicky：So here we are in Danshui again. What would you like to do first?
Vicky：我們又來到淡水了。你想先做些什麼？
Mike：First, I'd like to eat some local specialties. Last time I was here, I didn't have time.
Mike：首先，我想要來點當地的特產。上次我來的時候沒時間吃。
Vicky：Well, we could go get a bowl of fish balls and wash it down with a sour plum drink.
Vicky：嗯，我們可以去喝一碗魚丸湯，然後用酸梅汁將它消化掉。
Mike：Ok. I also want to buy some of those small black eggs I saw here last time.
Mike：好啊！我也要買些上次在這裡看到的小黑蛋。
Vicky：You mean iron eggs? Yeah, we can do that too. How about after that?
Vicky：你是說鐵蛋？是啊！我們可以去買。然後呢？
Mike：After we eat, let's take the ferry to Fisherman's Wharf. I love the bridge there.
Mike：我們吃完之後，就撘渡輪去「漁人碼頭」吧！我喜歡那裡的橋。
Vicky：You know, we could also take a boat tour up the coast before we return.
Vicky：你知道嗎？我們也可以在回來之前搭船沿岸而上。
Mike：Great idea! But first we have to get to the ferry terminal to buy our tickets.

Vicky：We shouldn't have to wait too long; I think the ferry comes every few minutes.

Mike：That's good news. I'd hate to wait in this hot sun too long.

"Dialogue 2" 相關實用句型：
3. We could go get a bowl of fish balls and wash it down with a sour plum drink. （我們可以去喝一碗魚丸湯，然後用酸梅汁將它消化掉。）
說明："go get" 看起來是「兩個動詞擺在一塊」，但其實中間省略了 to；"a bowl of..." 是「一碗...」的意思；"to wash sth. down with..." 表示「用... 將某物沖刷掉」，在這裡引申為「將吃進肚子裡的東西消化掉」）
4. "... the wind in our hair and the sea spray on our face." （清風吹拂在頭髮裡、海水噴灑到我們臉上。）
說明：這是一句相當詩情畫意的表達方式，尤其是到郊外欣賞風景時。
