Jocelyn: Yes, I would like to make a reservation, but I have few questions about your hotel.

Receptionist: You are welcome to ask any questions.

Jocelyn: I know the hotel is quite far away from the airport, So, I would like to know if there are any bus stops or BTS (Bangkok Mass Transit System) stations near the hotel？

Receptionist: Please don't worry about that. We will send a free shuttle to the airport to pick you up.

Jocelyn: Really? That's great! Besides that, I also want to know if we have to pay for using the facilities in the hotel, like the swimming pool, fitness room and spa center？

Receptionist: Except for the spa center, there are no extra charges.

重要字詞講解：1. reservation (n.) 預訂（房間或座位）
例：She is calling to make a room reservation.
（她正在打電話訂房間。）
例：I'll need your credit card number to complete the reservation.
（我需要您的信用卡號碼來完成這項預約。）
※ 小叮嚀：
如果要表達「預約」這個動作，可用 "make a reservation"。
2. shuttle (n.) 短程來回運輸的交通工具
例：We will send a free shuttle to the airport to pick you up.
（我們會有免費的專車到機場接送你們。）
例：The shuttle will be waiting for you when you arrive at the airport.
（交通車會在你們到達機場的時候等候。）
※ 小叮嚀：
「太空梭」也是 shuttle 用這個字，也可以說成 "space shuttle"。
3. facility (n.) 設備
例：I also want to know if we have to pay for using the facilities in the hotel.
（我還想知道我們使用飯店內的設施是否需要付費。）
例：I always eat out because I don't have cooking facilities in my room.
（我都在外面吃，因為我房間沒有烹調設備。）
4. except for 除了
例：Except for the spa center, there are no extra charges.
（除了 spa 中心，我們不會再另外收費。）
例：The shirt is perfect except for the size.
（這件襯衫很理想，只是尺寸不合。）
※ 小叮嚀：
besides 也是「除了…」的意思，但 besides 後面所接的東西，是包含在說話者所提到的所有東西之中，例如 "He wants watch the other two shows besides this one."（除了看這場表演，他還想看其他兩場。）這句的意思是他想看這場和其他兩場表演。但 "except for" 後面接的東西就有「不包含」的意味在，例如 "I ate everything except for the onion."（除了洋蔥之外，我什麼都吃了。）意思就是沒吃洋蔥。
5. arrive (v.) 抵達
例：We will arrive on September 11 and leave on September 13.
（我們會在九月十一號抵達，九月十三號離開。）
例：They arrived in Taipei yesterday afternoon.
（他們昨天下午抵達台北。）
※ 小叮嚀：
要說明抵達的地方，可用介系詞 in 和 at，in 後面接大範圍的地方，如國家和城市，at 後面接小範圍的地方，如建築物或站牌。

"look forward to" 表示「期待」時，記得須加動名詞或名詞。一般都習慣使用現在進行式 "be looking forward to …" 來表達強烈的期待。
