Putting Your Best Foot Forward
Richard: I just want to say that we're very interested in winning Payless's business. Mack: I know you are. Your presentation today was excellent. I have a much better idea of what Shoex is all about now. Richard: We've also followed Payless's 1)development—ever since our company's 2)founding. Mack: Believe me, it hasn't been easy for us, either. Richard: I especially admire the way that your company has insisted on 3)maintaining its standards, even when you've been under tremendous pressure from the market to 4)compromise your quality. Mack: You're very kind. From what I've seen so far of Shoex, I'm impressed as well. The competitive environment in Asia is difficult, and you've managed to build a strong 5)niche for yourself. Richard: I know that you need to get back to your office in Texas and review everything, but I hope that we have a chance to earn your business. Mack: I do as well. Thanks again for all of the 6)hospitality... but before I leave, do you think we could make one more trip to the night market…? |
