ENTER and JOIN
People enter contests and competitions. They want to compete to win a prize. Join is used when people become a member of a club or organization or participate in an activity.
Ex. At least 25 people entered the pie-eating contest. Will you join the baseball team this year?

•Frank hopes to ____________ the math contest next spring.
參加和加入 (enter and join)
人們參加比賽和競賽，他們彼此較勁以獲得獎賞；而當人們成為一個俱樂部或組織的一員，或是加入一個活動的時候，則用加入一詞。
例句：At least 25 people entered the pie-eating contest.
