News Talk-1 Worth the Wait?
Hank: (Reading) I'm NOT A Plastic bag. (Laughs) That's a very 1)astute bag you have. Cynthia: (Laughs) Isn't it? And it better be. I almost got 2)trampled buying it. Hank: So that's the bag people waited in line for hours to get! Cynthia: Yep. I waited patiently for three hours. And when the doors finally opened, the line turned into a 3)scrambling 4)horde! Hank: How'd you get one? Cynthia: I 3)scrambled the fastest. Hank: I've always thought Taiwanese were very respectful when lining up. Cynthia: Sure, for the most part. I think the 5)blame here belongs to the store managers. They didn't do enough to organize the sale. Hank: They should have given out numbers. Cynthia: They did, but by that time, the line was already all messed up. |
