[Two months later]
Dad: Hey, 1)Pumpkin. Have you got our hotel booked?
Kara: Yep.
Dad: Where are you taking us besides the parent-student events?
Kara: To my belly-dancing class, a foreign film, and a business fraternity party.
Dad: Wow. Sounds like we'll be busy. Are you keeping up with your studies?
Kara: Dad, I've got 2)straight A's so far. And I got a part-time job at the campus bookstore to help pay for 3)tuition.
Dad: I'm impressed.
Kara: And…I have a boyfriend. How do I do it? It's all about time management.
Dad: Looks like we'll have to take notes while we're there. You might teach us a thing or two.
兩個月後
老爸：嘿，大亨，幫我們訂好旅館了嗎？
卡拉：是呀。
老爸：除了家長會外，你還要帶我們去哪裡？
卡拉：去我的肚皮舞課、看一部外國電影，還有商學系兄弟會的派對。
老爸：哇，聽來我們會忙得不可開交。你的學業都跟得上嗎？
卡拉：爹，我到目前為止可都拿A唷。而且我在校園的書店打工，籌點學費。
老爸：真厲害。
卡拉：而且……我還交了個男朋友。你問我怎麼辦到的？都靠時間管理囉。
老爸：看來我們到你那裡時得做點筆記了。你或許可以傳授我們幾招。 |
