Jack Lee is in New York on business. He takes the opportunity to see a Yankee's game. At the game he meets another fan, Lou.
Lou: [Yelling] GIVE HIM YOUR 1)SINKER!
Jack: [Yelling] 2)STRIKE HIM OUT, WANG!
Lou: [To Jack] Wang's on fire this season. He was one batter away from a 3)perfect game last week.
Jack: I heard. I wish I could have been here to see it.
Lou: Uh-oh. Here comes a 4)wave!
Jack: A what?
Lou: A wave! Get ready to stand up... Now!!
(They both stand up then sit down.)
Lou: Say, where you from?
Jack: Taiwan. I'm just here on business.
Lou: I was in Taiwan last month on business!
Jack: Really?
Lou: Yeah. So welcome to New York. And thanks for giving us Wang!
Jack: [Laughs] No problem, we're all very proud of him!
Lou: [Back to the game] Alright it's two down, one to go.
Jack: What's the 5)count?
Lou: 6)It's a full count, three and two.
Jack: The sinker!
[Batter strikes out, crowd cheers]
Lou: Good morning, good afternoon, good night!
第一天
李傑克正在紐約出差。他把握住機會去看一場洋基隊的球賽。賽中他遇到另一個棒球迷，路。
路：〈大叫〉賞他伸卡球！
傑克：〈大叫〉王建民，三振他！
路：〈對傑克說〉王建民這一季真是太猛了。他上星期只差一個打者就演出完全比賽了。
傑克：我有聽說。真希望我有在現場看球。
路：呃，波浪舞來了！
傑克：波什麼？
路：波浪舞！準備站起來……就是現在！
〈兩人站起來又坐下。〉
路：你打哪兒來？
傑克：台灣。我才剛到這兒出差。
路：我上個月才去台灣出差耶！
傑克：真的啊？
路：是呀。所以歡迎你來紐約。也謝謝你們給我們王建民！
傑克：〈笑〉不客氣，我們全都以他為傲！
路：〈回到比賽〉嗯，現在兩人出局了。
傑克：球數呢？
路：兩好三壞滿球數。
傑克：伸卡球！
〈打者三振出局，觀眾歡呼〉
路：早安、午安、晚安！ |
