A convent in Italy is being shut down after a fight between its last three remaining nuns.

義大利一間修女院在僅存的3位修女大打出手後，準備關門大吉。

The Mother Superior ended up in hospital with scratches to her face after the fight between the sisters of the Santa Clara convent in Bari.

位於巴利的「聖塔克拉拉修女院」的修女打群架後，院長因臉被抓傷而送醫。

Now the local archbishop has intervened and asked the Vatican for permission to close the convent.

如今當地總主教已介入此事，並請求梵蒂岡准許關閉該修女院。

But Sister Liliana, the only nun still there, says she has no intention of leaving her home of the past 44 years. She has written to the Pope telling him she will only leave when God decides it is time to go.

The Clarissa nuns are regarded as the most austere order of the Roman Catholic Church, devoted to a life of prayer, penance and quiet contemplation. But sisters Annamaria and Gianbattista say they were driven to distraction by the habits of their Mother Superior.

The two nuns have now moved into a nearby convent leaving Sister Liliana barricaded inside.
