Tasha: OK, so how would you do it then, if you were going to propose?
Dave: Um, you know how I feel about marriage. I haven't put any thought into it. I won't be ready for marriage for a long time.
Tasha: Why? Is it because of 3)statistics? Because divorce is on the rise?
Dave: Well, they say that people who get married later have higher chances of 4)sticking it out.
Tasha: Yeah, because they're more mature, they know themselves better and they know what they want.
Dave: Let's just say they've been around the block a few times and are tired of walking.
戴夫：妳覺得在破爛老戲院送油膩膩的戒指很浪漫？我認為俗不可耐。
塔莎：好吧，那麼你會怎麼做，如果你要求婚的話？
戴夫：嗯，妳也知道我對婚姻的感覺。我還沒有任何想法。我還不打算在短時間內結婚。
塔莎：為什麼？是因為統計數據嗎？因為離婚率上升？
戴夫：嗯，人家說比較晚婚的人，堅持到底的機率比較高。
塔莎：是沒錯，因為他們比較成熟，比較了解自己，也明白自己要什麼。
戴夫：我看，應該說他們是玩夠了，想定下來。 |
